Enroll Drivers Into Luma Learning Paths

Enroll drivers into a Luma learning path from the New Hire flow, from an individual driver's profile, or as a mass action across the team member browser. Enroll anyone in DriverHub, with no job or status filters getting in the way.

Track Progress in the New Learning Tab

Every driver profile now includes a Learning tab showing which learning paths they're assigned to and the completion status of each. Learning paths can include multiple sub-courses, and you'll see the status of those too.

Certificates Stored on the Driver's Profile

As a driver completes courses within a learning path, Luma generates the completion certificate and sends it to DriverHub, where it's stored on the driver's record (DQF) right alongside their compliance documentation.

How The Luma Integration Works

1 icon

Get your API username and password from Luma, then enter them under Settings → Configure Luma in DriverHub.

2 icon

Enroll a driver into a learning path from the New Hire flow, their profile, or as a mass action in the team member browser.

3 icon

If the driver doesn't already exist in Luma, DriverHub creates them. If they do, DriverHub matches them and enrolls them into the path.

4 icon

Check progress anytime in the new Learning tab, and find completion certificates stored on the driver's record as courses wrap up.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Luma integration?

It connects your Luma (eNugget Learning) learning platform to DriverHub so you can assign learning paths to drivers, track their progress in a new Learning tab, and automatically store completion certificates on the driver's record, all without switching platforms.

What do I need before I can use it?

Your Luma (eNugget Learning) API credentials. Contact Luma to have these generated for your account, then configure the integration in DriverHub under Settings → Configure Luma.

Does DriverHub sync my entire driver roster to Luma?

No. DriverHub does not sync drivers to Luma. People are only created in Luma at the moment they're enrolled into a learning path. If the person already exists in Luma, DriverHub matches them and enrolls them. If they don't exist yet, DriverHub creates them and enrolls them.

Who can be enrolled into a learning path?

Anyone in DriverHub. Enrollment doesn't filter on any specific jobs or statuses.

Where can I enroll drivers into learning paths?

From three places: the New Hire workflow at the point of hire, an individual driver's profile, or the team member browser for enrolling multiple drivers at once as a mass action.

Can I assign a single course instead of a whole learning path?

Luma only supports enrolling people into a learning path, not into a single course on its own. A learning path can contain multiple sub-courses, and you'll see the status of each in the Learning tab, sometimes as individual completion certificates.

How are completion certificates handled?

When a driver completes a course within a learning path, Luma generates a completion certificate and sends it to DriverHub, where it's stored on the driver's record as a training record right alongside their compliance documentation.

What happens to a driver's Luma record when they're terminated?

When a driver is terminated in DriverHub, DriverHub sends an update to Luma reflecting that status, and the corresponding record in Luma is deactivated.
